Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 October 2026
These terms apply to dotstories.com, blog.dotstories.com and the DotStories app (together: DotStories), run by Nestor.gg ("we", "us"). By using DotStories you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use DotStories.
1. What DotStories is
DotStories lets people share AI workflows ("dots": a model, prompt, settings and steps) and run them on their own computer with the free DotStories app. Dots run on your hardware. We don't run them for you and we don't receive what you make with them.
2. Who can use it
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Give correct information, keep your password safe and don't share your account. You are responsible for what happens on it.
- One person per account. Accounts created to get around a ban are not allowed.
3. Your content
- You keep all rights to what you post (dots, comments, pictures, files). You give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, show and share it on DotStories as needed to run the service, for as long as it is online.
- When you publish a dot, others may view it and run it on their computer. If you mark it as forkable, others may copy and change it under the licence you choose.
- You confirm you have the rights to everything you post, and that it does not break any law or anyone's rights.
4. What you make with dots
We claim no rights to the images, music or other results you generate. Your use of them is subject to the licence of the AI model a dot uses (each dot shows it, for example commercial use limits). You are responsible for following that licence and for how you use your results.
5. Not allowed
You may not use DotStories to post, make, share or promote, or to help others with:
- anything illegal, or content that sexualises minors in any way;
- sexual or intimate images of real people without their consent, or deepfakes meant to deceive or harm;
- harassment, threats, hate, or content that promotes violence or terrorism;
- content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights, including other people's dots without permission;
- malware, or dots built to harm the computer of the person running them, collect their data or mine cryptocurrency;
- spam, scams, fake accounts, fake likes or views, or misleading paid dots;
- attacking, overloading, scraping in bulk or probing DotStories, or getting around its limits, security or the kill switch;
- breaking the licence or usage policy of an AI model or other software a dot uses.
6. What we do about misuse
- We may, at any time and without warning when needed, remove content, limit features, suspend or close accounts, and block access. We tell you why, unless the law or safety says otherwise, and you can reply to info@dotstories.com to ask us to look again.
- We report illegal content, especially child sexual abuse material, to the police and the competent authorities.
- If your misuse causes us damage or costs (including claims from others), we may hold you responsible for it, to the extent the law allows.
7. Report a problem
See something illegal or against these terms? Email info@dotstories.com with the link, what is wrong and why, and your name and email (you may report child abuse material anonymously). We look at every report and let you know what we did. This address is also our point of contact for authorities under the EU Digital Services Act; we answer in English or Dutch.
8. Paid dots
Selling dots is not available yet. When it is, extra terms will apply, and they will be shown before anyone buys or sells.
9. The DotStories app and third-party models
The app installs Python, libraries and AI models from their official sources (for example Hugging Face and PyPI) on your computer and runs dots in a restricted environment. These belong to their makers and come with their own licences. Running AI models uses a lot of your computer's power, memory and disk space; time estimates are estimates. Use the app at your own choice and keep your own backups.
10. No guarantees
DotStories is provided "as is". AI results can be wrong, unexpected or different on other hardware, and we don't promise that DotStories is always available, free of errors or fit for a specific purpose. We may change or stop features at any time. Dots are made by their authors, not by us, and we don't check every dot before it is published.
11. Liability
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost profit or data, or damage caused by dots, AI results, third-party software or models, or other users.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the damage, or €100 if you paid nothing.
- These limits don't apply to damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, and they don't take away rights that consumers have under mandatory law.
12. Ending
You can stop using DotStories and delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account (or email info@dotstories.com). We can end or suspend your access as described in section 6.
13. Changes
We may change these terms. For important changes we tell you on the site or by email before they apply. If you keep using DotStories after that, the new terms apply.
14. Law and disputes
Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in Amsterdam, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to go to the court where you live. If part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
